Giving a public talk (an actual serious announcement!)
I'll be picking a winner for the last giveaway, as well as announcing the new one, in a little while; but first I wanted to mention that
I'm giving a talk about the basics of homeschooling. It'll be this Wednesday, January 20, at 7:00 pm at the main branch of the Santa Monica library. If you're in town, I'd love to see you!

Dang! I'd love to come, but unfortunately I'm
in Ventura county and I don't think I can make it down there on a week day. :(
My son is only two, but I'm really starting to research now to figure out what we're going to do. Good luck, and I hope another opportunity like this comes up that I can attend!
Although we've been homeschooling a while, I'd still love to hear what you have to say. However, being in Indiana makes it a little difficult to swing by.
